Compared to an audio system installed in a conventional location, aspects such as the cables path, the dimensions and the positions of the loudspeakers are subject to limitations that require special attention from the contractor, in defining the layout of the system and its tuning. Furthermore, there are all the typical problems related to the design of an audio system in a large outdoor space mainly related to the speed of sound and to the integration capacity of the human ear. The system design methodology is presented in this article.
