The aim of the BRIC 2022 ID-11 project, funded by INAIL, is to develop and test in both laboratory and field settings new technologies to reduce the exposure to noise and vibrations of operators driving agricultural machinery and working in industrial environments. The devices developed are active noise control (ANC) and active vibration control (AVC) systems. These technologies use actuators to generate, in real time, counter-phase waves with respect to an existing signal, canceling it out through the principle of destructive interference.
