Impatto degli stressori ambientali su cognizione e percezione del paesaggio sonoro: un'analisi delle differenze legate all'età

Abstract

Gli studenti trascorrono in aula circa il 45% della loro giornata. Diventa quindi necessario che l’ambiente sia confortevole e di supporto per l’apprendimento, tramite il controllo dei quattro domini ambientali: termico, qualità dell’aria, acustico e visivo. Sebbene la letteratura di recente abbia iniziato a studiare questi domini congiuntamente, l’interazione tra qualità dell’aria e acustica rimane poco esplorata, con una significativa carenza di studi sugli studenti in età scolare. In questo studio sono stati comparati i risultati di due gruppi di studenti di età diversa: studenti universitari e alunni della Scuola Secondaria di I Grado. L’obiettivo è indagare se e come l’età degli studenti medi gli effetti degli stimoli sonori e della qualità dell’aria sulle prestazioni e sulla percezione sonora degli studenti. I risultati hanno evidenziato che l’età influisce sugli effetti delle condizioni acustiche sulle prestazioni di calcolo, ma non sulla valutazione del paesaggio sonoro, né mostra interazioni con la qualità dell’aria.
