Analisi tematica della percezione degli studenti universitari sull’utilizzo di ChatGPT nel contesto universitario

Abstract

Lo studio effettuato ha inteso analizzare vantaggi e svantaggi dell’implementazione di ChatGPT nei contesti educativi da una prospettiva di stampo neuroscientifica, per poi focalizzarsi sull’analisi qualitativa relativa alla percezione degli studenti circa punti di forza e di debolezza dell’uso di ChatGPT nel contesto universitario. Essa si è svolta all’interno di un processo più ampio avviato in seno al laboratorio di Docimologia sviluppato presso l’Università degli Studi di Palermo – corso di studi in Scienze Pedagogiche - nell’a.a. 2023/2024 con 160 studenti, in cui si è voluto verificare se azioni didattiche mirate, costruite all’interno della cornice teorica della valutazione formativa, possano aumentare i livelli di consapevolezza degli studenti, sensibilizzandoli sui possibili i rischi di erosione del pensiero critico e di verifica dell’accuratezza delle fonti consultate. L’analisi tematica qualitativa, condotta alla fine dell’intervento didattico, rivela la necessità di promuovere un uso critico e consapevole di ChatGPT, supportato da competenze docimologiche e metacognitive.
