Abstract

The article presents the theoretical, organizational and pedagogical perspectives underlying the creation of a digital documentation center on sustainability practices in the Bicocca District, in the city of Milan. Taking into account the design of this action, the literature on digital archiving systems is shown, to understand how to build databases that integrate the conservation purpose with the engagement of a territorial community. Subsequently, possible graphic suggestions are identified to embed these instances. Finally, the research is inscribed in a pedagogical framework that conceptualizes education as a process of democratization, where the knowledge grows into a community of practice and has origin from the spread of analogical and digital methodologies that support it.
