Abstract

Questo articolo presenta un insieme inedito di disegni e scritte lasciato da persone in transito al Rifugio Fraternità Massi di Oulx, al confine italo-francese, un contesto attraversato da una delle principali rotte migratorie irregolari dell’Unione Europea. Il contributo propone un’analisi di questi materiali sviluppata attraverso un laboratorio didattico nell’ambito dell’insegnamento universitario in Critical migration studies dell’Università e del Politecnico di Torino. Da un punto di vista teorico, il lavoro intende portare nel dibattito italiano il tema delle ‘tracce migratorie’, ampiamente discusso in ambito anglofono, mostrando il potenziale conoscitivo di tali tracce per la geografia delle migrazioni. Attraverso il focus sulle tracce migratorie e la loro analisi, l’articolo offre uno sguardo dal basso sui percorsi migratori verso e attraverso l’Europa.
