Il “corpo notturno” dell’infrastruttura. Riflessioni geografiche su colonialità e differenziale di mobilità nel borderscape di Trieste

Abstract
Questo articolo riflette sul rapporto tra l’infrastruttura e i differenti regimi di mobilità nell’Europa contemporanea, con particolare riferimento al caso del borderscape di Trieste. Se in questo ultimo decennio diversi studi hanno adottato una lente infrastrutturale per analizzare distinti regimi di mobilità, resta da esplorare quali siano le relazioni tra gli stessi. Considerando la matrice coloniale della logica infrastrutturale, l’articolo propone il concetto di “corpo notturno” dell’infrastruttura per mostrare in che modo, sin dalle sue origini, la logica infrastrutturale abbia implicato forme duali e differenziate di mobilità. Se per specifici gruppi sociali le infrastrutture garantiscono determinati spazi, ritmi e condizioni di sicurezza della circolazione, altri gruppi sono costretti a muoversi attraverso il suo “corpo notturno”. Questo “corpo” rappresenta uno spazio sociale e politico segnato da violenza e rischi elevati, ma anche la condizione di possibilità, simbolica e materiale, per l’esistenza del corpo più sicuro e visibile dell’infrastruttura stessa.
