
The article analyzes the implementation status of the Italian Law Decree 77/2022 within the Reggio Emilia Local Health Unit and Research Hospital, exploring the ongoing reorganization of community health services. It investigates challenges faced and solutions adopted in a territory that was already oriented towards integrated care. Among actions implemented, the article highlights the activation of new care settings dedicated to proactive medicine, including community-level operations centers and hospitals, the training of medical and healthcare personnel, and the enhancement of home-care services.
Innovative technologies, multi-professional and multidisciplinary collaboration, and third sector involvement prove to be key to address healthcare needs in an integrated manner and maximize the value of professionals. The interpretation of the presented case goes beyond Decree implementation, focusing instead on the value transition of healthcare policy that appears necessary to develop a public system ready to face contemporary challenges.
