A training process in a focus group was described in the following paper. This process was about diagnosis and resulted from collaboration between teachers and postgraduates of the COIRAG Postgraduate School, in Rome. The postgraduate students produced a summary document presented at a workshop of the School. The shift from the focus group setting to the large group has developed a dialogue between clinical experience, PDM2 and the group-analytic diagnosis. The complexity of the diagnostic process was explored. In the training group field, the diagnostic process, like a veil, showed different languages, integrated into a common Koinè.
