What is the meaning of a pedagogical discourse on fragility? This article presents a reflection on human reality and its ambiguous dimensions, contradictions, dilemmas and expectations. It emphasizes the values of sensitivity and delicacy, kindness and dignity to discover other ways of "being in the world". Fragility is conceived as a budding of life in childhood or an evolutionary metamorphosis in adolescence. Fragility is seen as marginality and existential precariousness or a shadow in the mechanisms of exclusion of diversity. Fragility is revealed as vulnerability and liminality in those destined for suffering and individual and social hardship. By adopting a pedagogical and hermeneutic perspective, it is possible to establish a pedagogy of fragility` to be in touch with human feeling. The author proposes a reflection on this category that lends itself to multiple interpretations to enhance the various existential foundations of subjectivity in all human spheres.
