In the educational field, interesting experiments are developing in recent years about the use of Artificial Intelligence. A contextual scenario of constant connection requires training of school stakeholders through an active, ethical and reflective planning. It is a priority to stimulate awareness of being digital citizens, promoting literacy in relation to knowledge of these issues. In order to highlight the importance of teacher training in relation to the didactic innovation needed to keep up with the continuous and rapid changes in today’s society, this paper introduces the design of a study on awareness of artificial intelligence issues and the benefits of using it in initial and continuing education (at university) for teachers.
