Code of ethics
When signing the publication agreement, the author is required to declare any conflicts of interest, indicate the funding received, and ensure compliance with copyright rules for quotations and previously published materials. If serious errors, conflicts of interest, or cases of plagiarism are identified, the editorial board informs the publisher and the author and, if appropriate, publishes an erratum or requests the withdrawal of the article.
The author also declares that, to guarantee the ethics and integrity of the research, they have followed the guidelines indicated by CNR or ELLEA and adhered to the “Charter of Principles for Research in Social Sciences and Humanities” published by CNR in 2017.
Articles concerning individuals or containing personal information that makes a subject identifiable must comply with international standards established by the Declaration of Helsinki, developed by the World Medical Association (WMA) and updated in 2013. If the article involves experiments with animals, the author must provide a statement ensuring compliance with national and institutional standards for the care and use of laboratory animals, as suggested by the Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals, drafted by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).
The journal allows for the publication of replies, comments, notes and letters to the editor, which undergo a peer-review process appropriate to their nature. Any corrections or retractions are published in a transparent and traceable manner.
