The study deals with the treatment outcomes of patients enrolled into North Turin public alcohology service (SA) in 2016. With a total user attendance of 212 users in 2016, data on efficacy involved 144 patients for whom 236 targets were identified. Of these targets, 132 were health goals and 104 were psycho-social-educational (pse). The evaluation of efficacy is expressed as a percentage, according to the degree of realization, categorised as realized objectives, partially realized or not realized. The efficacy of SA is almost superimposable to that of SerD in the absence of an agonist drug. The efficacy of the health objectives is significantly higher than those of pse, however it must be considered that pse treatment requires person’s awareness and readiness to change. This is inevitably less effective in the short term, but potentially determinant in the long run.
