Abstract

This study tries to provide some answers, or at least draw some attention, to the issue of addiction services’ patients who are increasingly reporting adoptive experiences. Several studies have highlighted the role which traumatic life experiences play during the onset of at-risk behaviour, often the first stage of drug abuse and pathological addiction. In this regard it would be appropriate to create spaces to reflect, proposing suggestions and experimenting relational modalities within the group and couple dynamics, with the aim of turning hardships and pain into protective and constructive experiences.
