The World Health Organization’s Framework Convention sets targets for tobacco control to protect against devastating health, social, environmental and economic consequences. The Campania Region with the Regional Prevention Plan (PRP) 2020-2025, sets itself the goal of implementing actions to combat smoking. Aims are the dissemination of information and the monitoring of public acceptance of actions aimed at raising awareness and preventing smoking. Other purposes: knowledge of smoking characteristics in the enrolled population through technology and individual motivation to discontinue. On the occasion of the World No Tobacco Day, posters and leaflets were distributed with information about the risks of addiction, the pathologies associated with tobacco smoking and the benefits of discontinuing its use, In addition to the references for accessing the Smoking Centre and QR-code to fill out the questionnaires of Fagerstrom and Marino available on-line. The analysis was conducted on 538 Fagerstrom tests and 379 motivation questionnaires collected with digital technologies. In conclusion, the importance of implementing specialized anti-smoking centres for prevention activities and complex treatments, offering psycho-physical support to smokers is stressed.
