The project “Addictions: How Much Do You Know?” aimed at promoting health and preventing addictions among minors and young adults involved with the Juvenile Social Service Offices.
The intervention was carried out over three editions, with data collection and analysis covering the project’s implementation period.
The primary goal was to promote conscious health-oriented behaviors, focusing on substance dependencies – both legal and illegal – and behavioral addictions, which are characteristic of the adolescent developmental stage.
The project involved close collaboration between the Sassari Addiction Services through the Minors and Young Adults Team, and the Juvenile Court’s Social Services Center in Sassari.
These partnerships led to numerous training activities aimed at the adolescents involved, with the intention of complementing diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation activities with educational programs focused on addiction prevention.
Data collection and analysis, carried out throughout the project’s editions, provide a solid foundation for understanding the intervention’s effectiveness and the impact of the activities on the young participants.
