
In the present article the author will focus on how the working through of some dynamics experienced in the analysis with a patient helped her to give new sense of countertransference and of the content the patient brought to analysis which she has previously, too easily, dismissed according to a “given” model. Once available to experience the uncertainty, as Jung speaks of, and furthermore grasping the need to question the relationship with the fathers/analysts, she was then able to modify her approach to the work with the patient and this helped activate a profound reflection on her analytic attitude.
