“The Heart Dreams of Sweet Fairy Tales”. Processes of unconscious communication in the analytic couple illustrated by a clinical case

Abstract

By means of an analytic vignette the analyst is moving along the junctions of the therapeutical transformation process. Particular attention is given to the analyst`s countertransference, especially to inner pictures rising within the process, body sensations and dreams in connection with weakly represented states of mind of the patient. In this paper the analyst tries to describe in which configurations the analytic couple`s unconscious communication appears, how it can be reflected and inhowfar this has an impact on the analytic process.
