The article is focused on the evolution of Parri’s political culture during his youth, analysing some unpublished primary sources from his personal papers. Some of these documents underline how Wilson influenced Parri’s thoughts on democracy during Wwi. In addition, it provides new insights on Parri’s personality on his attitudes to such topics as Christianity and the role of woman in the family. An unknown document is published at the end of the article in which Parri’s thought after Wwi is summarized.
