Abstract

Here we discuss the origin, internal structure and evolution of online experiential groups ran by Il Cerchio. These groups started to provide members of the association with a dedicated space for support, sharing and dialogue during the Covid-19 pandemic. The groups were initially led by an external group analyst. They then progressed, up till now, and evolved into a form of training for new members, as they are now led by members of the association. This experience had a positive outcome as it allowed a synthesis between old and new and promoted cohesion, dialogue and most importantly a joint sense of identity among the members of the Il Cerchio.
