In this interview, Antonio Panzuto tells us about his workshop experience at a number of nursery schools in Padua, Rovigo and the surrounding area. The project involves a short performance of the show “Il Frigorifero Lirico”, an opera set in a fridge inspired by Richard Wagner’s “The Flying Dutchman”, followed by a session of activities and workshops with the children, using drawings and shadow play. Dreams are the key to understanding the entire performance, which serves as a means of connecting and engaging with the children, speaking in their own language, and using sounds and lights to transport them to a fantastical world where we can build a relationship with them and create a shared moment of play.
