Abstract

The paper analyzes Michael Kimball novel Big Ray and the vicissitudes of his protagonist, struggling with a difficult grieving process; specifically, the paper focuses on the potential of the group towards grieving process taking inspiration from the total absence of groupal images in the text, that characterizes the mourning experience of the protagonist.
