The paper describes the possibility of using the Reflective Citizenship workshop as a method to encourage the local community to reflect after a femicide. The Social Dreaming (SD) framework enabled the exploration of the issue of gender-based vio-lence, highlighting a need within the community. Despite organisational challenges and the emotional charge, the shared dreams made it possible to initiate a difficult but necessary process. The Large citizenship Group facilitated collective reflection on themes such as communication, hope, gender roles and intergenerational dia-logue. Although it was difficult to explicitly address the issue of femicide, the re-flections in small groups enabled participants to acknowledge the difficulty of pro-cessing traumatic content and the need to find a space for everyone, generating strong emotional resonance.
