The author reviews some of Didier Anzieu’s ideas in psychoanalysis, highlighting his research and interests in various areas. Creator of concepts such as interphantasmatisation, the Ego-skin, psychic envelopes and their relation with categories of thought, in a system of relation and mutual correspondence, he highlights thinking in metaphors, giving a place to sensoriality and connections between the biological and the psychic as energy that goes from one zone to the other linking parts and functions. Anzieu considers the group as a body with a specific envelope to understand and attend to. The author uses several of these concepts to express her own clinical experience in working with psychotherapeutic groups and proposes an openness towards the use of resources and techniques in mediation in the therapeutic work in psychoanalysis.
