The research attempts to contribute to the exploration of training practices within a training ecosystem. Situated within the tradition of sociomateriality studies, in particular the theory of cultural-historical activity, the present work aims to understand how and in what way training objects are generated and constructed with innovative logics, which hold together the need for instrumental training but which cannot fail to respond to the needs of professionals who increasingly see work as an opportunity for personal growth and self-fulfillment. In order to understand the potential and what are the limits of training ecosystems, corporate academies were studied, as they are experiences in which innovative training management experiences based on the collaboration between formal and non-formal training systems have been settled for years. The research design is qualitative and a case study is used, analysing in particular an Italian corporate Academy of a leading organisation in the ICT sector. The research plan involved the exploration of training practices within the Academy through a documentary analysis and the use of semi-structured interviews.
