This paper analyses the role of music learning and handwriting as embodied practices capable of supporting cognitive development in the age of Artificial Intelligence. Through a review of the literature, it examines the effects of these activities on attention, memory, executive functions, learning and brain plasticity. Music and handwriting are considered practices capable of supporting the development of skills through the integration of sensorimotor processes and cognitive control. The analysis also highlights their educational relevance in the current context of the growing prevalence of smart technologies.
