Meaness, the sinn against Life

Abstract

The prevailing value which is given to things by the mean person pulls him away from relationship, excludes him from life and from the opportunity to follow his individuative path. In the mean person the archetypal polarities “Male- Feminine” and “Puer-Senex”, within which the vital energy flows, are unbalanced in the favour of the “Male” and “Senex” extremes and are responsible for his existencial failure. The “Woman” and the “Child” (and their symbolic values) will account for an opportunity to be rescued from the cage of meaness.
