The author, “historical father” of Jungian Studies and teacher of many AIPA analysts, in the editorial of the first issue of the journal, reprinted here, evaluated analytical psychology at that historical moment. His questions still appear today, after twenty-four years, incredibly current: “What is the relationship between the psyche and the world of today? And what word does analysis still have to say about it?”.
