This report, from the authors’ perspective, describes the sixth edition of the IAAP European Conference of Analytical Psychology, an international congress held in Syracuse from August 30 to September 1, 2024, titled Analytical Psychology When Time is Out of Joint. This year, the congress was preceded by an important novelty: the first IAAP European Conference on Childhood and Adolescence Psychology, a highly significant event for focusing the Jungian community’s attention on the world of younger generations. The temporal proximity of the two events led to a beneficial psychic and cultural exchange, with the European Congress also addressing themes and questions regarding youth and the future, issues that are even more pressing in the complex and rapidly changing world in which we live.
