This paper is intended to represent the synthesis of the clinical experience of Paolo Aite – psychiatrist and jungian psychologist, AIPA-IAAP member, co-founder of the Journal of Analytical Psychology and founder of LAI (Analytical Laboratory of Images), patient and student of Bernhard – with respect to the use of sand play in analysis through, above all, the use of images and the technique of painting. The text is built on an interview structure, in which the authors – Paolo Aite and Pina Galeazzi – define the stages of analytical research.
