This article stems from the experience of the conference “Gestalt Psychotherapy and Contemporary Psychoanalysis in Dialogue,” organized by the Istituto di Gestalt HCC Italy in Milan on November 14-15, 2024. Among the expected speakers was Donna Orange, whose sudden passing in an accident during those very days deeply marked the event. The conference became an intense and moving space of dialogue, where therapists and colleagues shared how Donna Orange’s friendship and thought contributed to the development of Gestalt psychotherapy. This article includes the transcripts of the contributions by the attending speakers: Elisabetta Conte, Lynne Jacobs, Paolo Migone, and Dan Bloom.
