Abstract

In questa introduzione al numero speciale di Sociologia del lavoro dedicato alle trasformazioni del lavoro e alle politiche di welfare nel contesto della crisi ecologica, gli autori ripercorrono lo stato del dibattito, concentrandosi su tre concetti emergenti: quello di giustizia climatica, transizione giusta e welfare sostenibile. Forniscono un'analisi dei contesti accademici e non accademici in cui questi concetti sono emersi e del tipo di questioni programmatiche che sollevano per lo studio delle trasformazioni del lavoro, dei movimenti sociali e delle politiche di welfare. Dopo aver discusso come i contributi raccolti rendano operativi i tre concetti in diversi contesti empirici e di ricerca, l'articolo delinea alcuni temi critici da esplorare e approfondire ulteriormente e suggerisce alcune indicazioni metodologiche e analitiche utili al proseguimento del dibattito e, con ciò, alla crescita di un campo di analisi che è destinato a occupare uno spazio rilevante nella sociologia del lavoro.
