Le linee guida internazionali per il trattamento dei disturbi psicologici in età evolutiva

Abstract

Questa rassegna include le linee guida internazionali disponibili per il trattamento dei disturbi psicologici in età evolutiva, tutte redatte dal National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) britannico. Gli autori hanno scelto di analizzare alcuni fra i disturbi psicologici attualmente più significativi sia in termini di frequenza, intensità e impatto sul funzionamento e sullo sviluppo dei bambini e degli adolescenti, come è noto, il post pandemia da Covid-19 ha comportato un progressivo e costante aumento della richiesta di intervento clinico rivolto ai soggetti in età evolutiva specialmente per casi di: disturbi dell’umore/depressione, ansia sociale, disturbi ossessivi compulsivi; problematiche esternalizzanti (ADHD e disturbi del comportamento anche con condotte antisociali) e disturbi più gravi afferenti all’area degli esordi psicotici. Gli autori di questo articolo hanno deciso, di riportare, per ciascuna di queste aree psicopatologiche, le indicazioni circa la diagnosi e il trattamento presenti nelle linee guida. Inoltre, per ciascun disturbo, stati presi in considerazioni i lavori di metanalisi pubblicati successivamente alle linee guida stesse, in modo da fornire una panoramica aggiornata delle evidenze disponibili.
