The article addresses the promotion of well-being and prevention in chronic diseases, highlighting the importance of a healthy lifestyle to continue to express oneself to the best of one’s ability. It is emphasized how the quality of life in chronic conditions is influenced by factors such as symptom management, physical activity, nutrition and meditation, in particular mindfulness. Prevention, in primary, secondary and tertiary forms, is crucial to reduce risks and improve existing conditions. The role of integrated therapies is also described, which put the patient at the center rather than the disease, favoring a holistic and personalized approach to treatments,that requires patient involvment and a team of experts at the service of the person.
